Crafts and Me GD Card - Adore

Good day to you all people. I hope everybody is doing fine. Over here in Luxor temperatures dropped to around 38 degrees. So that's a little better then last week. Also in the night we have a nice cool breeze and then it is lovely to sit on my roof terrace and enjoy the silence of the night. The only thing you hear are the crickets and the frogs.
So far about Egypt again. Back to my new card.
This is my third card as a Guest Designer for Crafts and Me.
This digi is made by the artist Emily Louella. She makes beautiful digi's in greyscale. Never coloured a greyscale digi before. This was my first one and I have to amid, it was so fun to do! This beauty is called "Blossoming". I coloured her mainly in browns because I wanted to give this card a bit of a Vintage look. Only used another colour for the flowers and the background.
The papers I used are from a super old paper pad. I think that was one of the first paper pads I ever bought. It is from Graphic 45, "Baby 2 Bride". The papers from this pad fit so well with a Vintage card. I also used a piece of corrugated cardboard.
I distressed all the papers and inked them up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain". And after that I smeared some white Gesso so here and there.
Behind the papers I put a little white doily.
The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley. I cut it out with a little tag die. Do not know any more from which company. After that attached it with some brads to the card.
All the flowers and Vintage Seam Binding are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. For the bling put some Stickels, "Star Dust" on it.
The leaves behind the flowers are dies from Cheery Lynn and CreaLies.
The big Guipure Lace is coming from The Ribbon Girl.
The metal corner, flat back pearls and rhinestones are coming from my stash.
I do hope you like this card again. And if you like, head over to the Challenge of Crafts and Me. The May Challenge is still open and it is an Anything Goes one. How easy!
Thanks every body for passing by and I do hope to see you soon again! Have a nice Thursday.

Crafts and Me GD Card - Happy Birthday

Good day to you all people. First of all, thanks to everybody who visits my blog and leaving such sweet comments on my cards!
Today I have a new Guest Designer card for you which I made for Crafts and Me.
This time it is with a digi from Hannah Lynn, "Library Fairy". I coloured her with my Copic Markers. And after that along the edge I put some Stickels, "Star Dust" for some nice shine. On the glasses of her specs I put some Glossy Accents. It only does not show on the pictures.
The papers I used are from a paper pad from Studio Light.
The sentiment stamp is coming from Lili of the Valley, set 26 "Simply Sophisticated".
The edge I punched with an old punch of Martha Stewart. The heart tag behind the papers is made with a Doohickey from Magnolia.
The long swirl is one of my favourites and it comes from Memory Box, "Whimsical Flourish".
The tag on the right side is a piece of a die from Noor! Design, 6002/0134.
The little butterflies are also made with a punch from Martha Stewart.
All the papers I inked up with Distress Ink, "Dusty Concord".
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Again for some bling I put some Stickels, "Star Dust" on it.
The Vintage Seam Binding is coming from The Ribbon Girls. I glued a key charm under it with some Scrappers Floss.
The flat back pearls, rhinestones and charm are coming from my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated also. Used a paper from the paper pad and made a rectangle with a Crealies XXL die, nr. 24 "Stitch". The edges I stamped with a stamp from Unique also in Distress Ink, "Dusty Concord".
Well, I hope you like my second DT card. I know I had a great time colouring and making it.
I wish you all a lovely weekend and thanks for passing by. See you soon again!

You're Special

Good day to you all. I hope every body had a nice beginning of the week.
Over here in Luxor we have a little bit of a heatwave with temperatures around 44 degrees. And the sun is scoring hot!
I also had a little bit of some printer problems this week. My old printer finally gave up. So I had to buy a new printer. And guess what, here in Luxor you can choose between 2 (!) printers; a laser jet or an ink jet and they are both from HP. Lol! So you are really not standing in a shop deciding forever which printer you want to buy. Hahaha. So i did buy the laser printer because I colour with the Copics and a lot of ink jet printers have problems with that.
But so far about my printer troubles. Back to my card for today.
This card is made with a digi of Hannah Lynn from Crafts and Me. This beauty is called "Dahlia". I coloured her with my Copic Markers. And around the edge of the stamp I made some extra bling with Stickels, "Star Dust".
The papers I used for the card coming from a paper pad from Prima Marketing, "Melody". All the papers I inked up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain". Behind the papers I put a doily. And ad the other side I make a tag, glued design paper on it and stick it behind the papers. The bow is made with Vintage Seam Binding from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The sentiment stamp is from a set from Inkadinkado.
The leaves behind the flowers is a die from Noor! Design, 6002/0046 and a Doohickey from Magnolia the Heart Swirl. The little cut out dragon fly is also a Doohickey from Magnolia.
The flowers are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts except the fabric flower. I really do not know any more where it is coming from. Have it already for ages. The shining spacer in the middle is from The Hobbyhouse. On the flowers I also put some Stickels, "Star Dust".
The flat back pearls, rhinestones and mesh are coming from my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated also. Only use a beautiful paper from the paper pad. And a little dragon fly and two hearts made with a punch of Martha Stewart.
I really hope you love this card again. Thanks for passing by and love to see you soon again!

The little butterfly is a die from Noor! Design, 6002/0390.
The hydrangea flowers are from Prima Marketing. I but a little rhinestone spacer in the middle.

Pure Beauty

Good morning to you all on this beautiful Wednesday in sunny Luxor with a temperature of 42 degrees! And it is not even real summer yet.
Today I have a new card for you. This is a special one. I was asked to do a Guest Designer ship at Crafting By Designs Challenge Blog. And of course I said yes! I feel it is a real honour if they ask you for this and I love to play along.
My choice for a stamp was free but the theme for this week is "Fantasy", so I choose a digi stamp from Aurora Wings, "Dark Princess". I loved it to colour her up with my Copics.
For the papers I used a paper pad from Kaisercraft, "Fairy Dust".
The sentiment stamp is from Stampology.
Dies I used are from Magnolia a Doohickey; the leaves I made with a die from Cheery Lynn and Noor! Design, 6003/0046.
The flowers, Vintage Seam Binding and the metal corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts. On the flowers and along the stamp I put some Stickels, "Star Dust".
Probably hard to see, but on the stamp I also put some Stickels, "Lavender".
I also attached a heart charm at the bow.
Put some nice feathers in the right corner and some pearl bead string between the flowers.
The white lace, flat back pearls, bead string, feathers and charm are from my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated accordingly but kept it simple. I used a Scalloped Rectangle from Nestabilie and the Doohickey from Magnolia to make an edge.
I do hope you like this card and that you all play along with the fun Challenge at Crafting By Designs!
Every body thanks for passing by and I cannot say it often enough, thanks a lot for your lovely comments on my makings!

With Love

Good day everybody. I'm back again with a new card for you. But first of all, let me thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such lovely comments on my craftings!
It was this week a quiet week over here in Luxor, Egypt. So I had time on my hand to make some new cards. They will be put up later on my blog.
But for today I have a card for you with an image of Aurora Wings. I do love them a lot! And because we have three Hibiscus bushes in our garden (all in a different colour, a red one, a pink one and a yellow one) and when I saw this beauty, I was like, Yes! Have to have it!
And isn't she a gorgeous one. I coloured her up with my Copics. She is called "Hibiscus Spirit".
For the papers I used some very old but dear papers from SEI, "Mimosa". Behind the papers I put a white doily. And of course I inked all the papers up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain".
The sentiment stamp is coming from a set from Lili of the Valley. set 26 "Simply Sophisticated".
You can hardly see it any more but I did used a punch of Martha Stewart, "Scallop". Punched both sides of the white card stock and some designer paper in the middle.'
All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaves under the flowers I made with a die from Creative Expressions, "Trialling Ivy". I also attached a little bow from Scrappers Floss. And on the flowers I put some Stickels, "Star Dust".
On three sides of the card I made a nice decoration made with a die from Noor! Design, 6002/0260.
The little butterfly is made with a die from Die-Namics, "Notched Tag".
The ribbon and the pearls are coming from my stash.
I do hope you like this card again. Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a nice weekend and I'm off, colouring the next one! See you soon!

Keep Smiling

Good day to all of you. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Anyway, I had a great Sunday evening. We went out with the boat on the Nile with 5 ladies. Sunday's is always our Ladies Out Night. And with today's day time temperature of 40 degrees, it is lovely on the water with a cool breeze. We sailed to a nearby little island in the Nile. On that island is a hotel with a big restaurant. Sat on the water side drinking a nice cold bear and later had a fantastic dinner. After that again sitting outside and after an hour or so sailed back to Gaziera, the village where the boats are docked.
But that was last night. Today I have a new card for you which I recently made. This one is with a digi stamp from Polkadoodles, "Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime - Shy". I coloured her up with my Copic Markers. After that cut her out with a Round Nestabilitie and matted her on card stock which was cut out with a Scalloped Round Nestabilitie.
The design papers coming from a paper pad from Lili of the Valley, "Timeless Victorian".
The sentiment stamp is also from Lili of the Valley, set 58 "Pretty Grungy - Good Times".
I kept the whole layout of the card in circles and cut every thing out with my Nestabilities. All the papers I inked up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain".
The flowers on the card and the aqua stamens are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. Between the flowers I made a little bow from Scrappers Floss. The leaves under the flowers a made with 2 different dies from Noor! Design, 6003/0046 and 6003/0047. For the flowers I used some Stickels, "Star Dust" for some extra bling.
The big bow I made with a ribbon from The Ribbon Girls. On top of the bow I put a glittery spacer from The Hobbyhouse. The butterfly is made with a punch from Ann Griffin.
The pearls, rhinestones and metal corner are coming from my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated accordingly so you can write your own message.
That was it for now. I do hope you like my card again. As always, thanks for passing by and thanks if you leave a comment! Have a great day and hope to see you soon again!
